Speakers and Panelists for 2018 State of the St. Louis Workforce Event

St. Louis Community College’s Workforce Solutions Group will present the 2018 State of the St. Louis Workforce Report 7:30-10 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in the Mildred E. Bastian Theatre at STLCC’s Forest Park campus, 5600 Oakland Avenue.

Come join our discussion and hear about the latest workforce research. For the 10th anniversary of this report the conversation looks at investing in the future of the St. Louis workforce.

You are invited to learn how information technology, financial services and health care are critically important in shaping the required skills for the workforce. Discussions will focus on initiatives and resources that will assist the region in supporting these industries and includes real-time labor market data and the results of a regional phone survey of 1,246 employers. Networking and continental breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m., and the program follows at 8 a.m. An expanded discussion continues at 10 a.m. following the presentation and panel discussion.
