Women In Aerospace Manufacturing Program with Boeing

Women have a place — and great opportunities — in aerospace manufacturing. Through our Women in Aerospace Manufacturing, our modern-day Rosie the Riveters learn about Boeing’s free Pre-Employment Training Program offered through STLCC Center for Workforce Innovation. Students can select either Sheet Metal Assembly & Riveting (SMAR) or Composites Mechanic, learning from knowledgeable instructors who are current or retired Boeing employees. Upon successful completion of the program, students are guaranteed an interview with Boeing. In the 10+ years of running this program with STLCC, students and Boeing have enjoyed a fantastic job placement rate.
