Continuing Education Spring 2019 Courses

The spring 2019 Continuing Education catalog hit stands today. Since 1962, St. Louis Community College has offered continuing education classes to enrich lives and advance careers. The classes range from foreign languages and crafts to social media marketing and UFOs.

Continuing Education programs at STLCC offer students of all ages a chance to explore new hobbies, create works of art, learn valuable skills and join accelerated job training programs. “We truly hope that there is something for everyone,” said Marie Peters, Continuing Education Manager. “Our classes offer students a chance to learn about what they want to learn about – and at the fraction of the cost of other courses in the region.”

Continuing Education is always growing, but keeping the classes students love the most such as computer skills training, PMP, Lean Six Sigma and more. Some of the new professional development courses offered this year include an accounting boot camp series, grant writing and event planning courses tailored for nonprofits and new clock-hour-eligible sessions for childcare professionals.

The catalog offers classes for all ages, including children. “It’s always nice to see our returning students, but it’s especially exciting to see the future generations getting involved,” Peters said.

Registration opens January 7, 2019. For a complete list of classes and more information, please visit stlcc.edu/ce.
