One of my favorite leadership quotes is attributed to Marty Linsky, professor at JFK School of Government at Harvard. “Leadership is the art of creating disequilibrium and discomfort at a rate that people can absorb.”

Two insightful quotes on leadership that I really like are:

“The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant.” – Max DePree

    and

“Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others.” – Jack Welch
