Business Technology Training (BTT), Class Starts April 15, 2013

The successful Business Technology Training accelerated job training program, which has graduated a total of 65 students since 2010 reflecting a 85% placement rate, is enrolling now for a new session that will begin April 15, 2013 at the Met Center.
This ten week hands-on program prepares students for administrative management positions in a variety of environments and includes certification preparation in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access as well as demonstrated proficiency in Outlook and PowerPoint. Leadership fundamentals, strategic planning practices, emotional intelligence and career development strategies are also emphasized in the program. Enrolled students also have the opportunity to earn eight credits toward an AA degree.
Requirements: Participation requires a high school diploma or GED, typing speed of 35 wpm, TABE level-11.0, and advanced computer assessment.
